An external electronic viewfinder for a single lens reflex camera either comprises eye-level zoom-in viewfinder lens groups (1, 2) and a micro camera (5), or comprises eye-level zoom-in viewfinder lens groups (1, 2), a micro camera (5) and a light reflection plate (3). When there is no need for electronic viewfinding, the viewfinder is used as an optical eye-level zoom-in viewfinder. When there is a need for electronic viewfinding, the micro camera (5) is directly moved onto an optical axis of the eye-level zoom-in viewfinder, or the light reflection plate (3) is moved onto the optical axis of the eye-level zoom-in viewfinder, then a viewfinding image in the viewfinder of the single lens reflex camera is reflected by the light reflection plate (3) to the micro camera (5), and the micro camera (5) transmits the viewfinding image onto an external display screen (6) in a wired or wireless manner. Therefore, a photographer can perform operations of viewfinding, composing, selecting a focus point, remote photographing, etc. via an external display device. |
