Disclosed are a liquid crystal display panel and a method of fabricating the liquid crystal display panel, and an array substrate. A pixel unit (20) of the liquid crystal display panel comprises: a liquid crystal layer (13) sandwiched between a first substrate and a second substrate, and a first electrode layer (21), a second electrode layer (22) and an insulating layer (23) which are disposed on one side of the first substrate facing the liquid crystal layer (13); the first electrode layer (21) is disposed adjacent to the first substrate, the insulating layer (23) is sandwiched between the first electrode layer (21) and the second electrode layer (22), the second electrode layer (22) is provided thereon with an electrode pattern, and a groove (221a) is disposed in a region of the insulating layer (23) which corresponds to the second electrode layer (22) and is not provided with the electrode pattern. In the way described above, driving voltage of the liquid crystal display panel can be reduced on the premise of ensuring display quality, which lowers power consumption and thus prolongs the service time of a display terminal employing the liquid crystal display panel. |
