The present invention relates to a pretreatment apparatus for air purification, which is contained in a front end part inflow duct of a scrubbing dust collector and, more specifically, to a pretreatment apparatus for air purification, contained in an inflow duct which is provided on a front end of the scrubbing dust collector to allow polluted gas to flow. To this end, the pretreatment apparatus comprises: a guide vane provided in the duct so as to swirl gas; and a nozzle bringing the swirled gas into contact with a washing liquid. The pretreatment apparatus further comprises a mesh net absorbing and washing out gas so as to be applied for purifying polluted gas introduced into the scrubbing dust collector. Thus, the size of the scrubbing dust collector can be remarkably reduced by using such apparatus.
