Provided is a manufacturing method of carbon materials, which uses cotton fibers having naturally twisted structure as raw materials and controls sizes of holes in the cotton fibers by adjusting processing time of mercerization. By adjusting the processing time of mercerization and concentration of an alkaline aqueous solution, shapes of the cotton fibers can be freely controlled to shapes of helix, tube, and rod. Also, sizes of specific surface areas of the cotton fibers can be increased with respect to desired purposes. In addition, the carbon materials of the present invention can be used as a carbonization precursor, and the shapes of the manufactured carbon materials can be formed into various shapes of helix, micro-sized tube, rod, etc. |
