PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photobook production terminal, and the like capable of producing an original photobook with a layout adapted to a world view of a picture book.SOLUTION: The photobook production terminal is provided with: means for selecting image data to be laid out in photobook templates in which image boxes and character boxes are laid out on patterns; means for inserting the image data in the image boxes; means for inputting characters in the character boxes; means for deleting, from the templates, the image box in which no image data has been inserted and the character box in which no character has been inputted to generate post-edited layout data; means for converting the post-edited layout data into print data; and means for printing the print data to generate a photobook.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
