Provided is an image classification method, comprising: an analysis step, analysing the quality of any image; a determination step, determining a quality type of the any image according to an analysis result, wherein the quality type comprises a first quality type suggested to be saved and a second quality type suggested to be deleted. Correspondingly, also provided is an image classification apparatus. By means of the technical solution, images can be classified according to the quality of each image so as to enhance the user experience.
