PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a focus position of a capillary used in sample measurement in a dark field, without charging a fluorescence dye to the capillary used in sample measurement.SOLUTION: In a state where a reference capillary is mounted on an electrophoresis device to focus an optical system, a two-dimensional image of light containing self-fluorescence from a separation medium and a two-dimensional image of Raman scattered light are acquired, and then pattern data of the self-fluorescence and Raman scattered light are obtained. In respective states where an electrophoresis capillary is mounted on the electrophoresis device and the focal position of an optical system is different, pattern data of the self-fluorescence and Raman scattered light are obtained similarly, and a focal position of an optical system that is closest to that in the reference capillary is regarded as a focal position. |
