<p>Pelletizing ring extrusion dies comprising a die body having a plurality of holes, wherein each hole has surface at least partially coated with a low-friction coating. The low-friction coatings reduce surface temperatures during operation of the dies, which reduces volatilization and inconsistent flow of the material being extruded. The pelletizing ring extrusion dies possess improved tool life due to the low-friction coatings.</p> |
