PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of discharge or leakage between a reading part having conductivity provided on a belt member and conductive support members over which the belt member is laid, while ensuring good workability.SOLUTION: A belt unit 500 according to the present invention includes: a belt member 10 that is laid over and conveyed by a plurality of support members 501 to 512 having conductivity; a reading part 200 that is arranged on at least one side 10A in a belt width direction X intersecting with a conveyance direction V of the belt member, on a surface 10B on a side opposite to the support members over the belt longitudinal direction, and has a metal layer 02 to be a conductive part that is read by optical detection means 300A and 300B; and a roller-shape insulating member 400 that is arranged on a side opposite to the reading part and is provided between the reading part and the support members. |
