摘要 The present invention relates to a radiation counting readout circuit having a dual path and a method for counting radiation using the same and, more specifically, to a radiation counting readout circuit used for a computer tomography and the like. An amplifier circuit comprises: a preamplifier converting an electric signal which is input by a sensor into a voltage signal; and a shape amplifier patterning an output signal of the preamplifier and outputting the same, wherein the preamplifier and the shape amplifier are individually formed in a dual path of a parallel structure. Multiple radiation signals received through a sensor are alternately processed through the two amplifier circuits. The radiation counting readout circuit can suppress a saturation phenomenon, wherein a signal value is accumulated and saturated according to a follow-up radiation radiated before processing a signal on the radiation radiated in advance is finished, or a pile-up phenomenon caused by an overlapping signal of the radiation continuously radiated. Thereby, the radiation counting readout circuit can improve detection efficiency of the radiation.
