摘要 The present invention relates to an eco-friendly gabion block used for constructing a retaining wall with improved earth pressure resistance and structure integration. A gabion block is formed by integrating a steel mesh structure (taking up one-fourth of the entire area) with a front side of a PC block (precast concrete block) manufactured in a factory to significantly improve constructability and structure rigidity when compared with an existing gabion. The PC block integrated with the steel mesh structure forms a basic eco-friendly gabion block. The existing gabion block may be selectively combined with one or more among a separate gabion block for exclusively filling soil, earth pressure supporting heel gabion block, and an auxiliary gabion block for exclusively filling soil to construct a retaining wall, thereby facilitating and simplifying construction according to heights of slopes, earth and sand, and the form and type of the ground. When a building is constructed, projections formed in each gabion block are coupled to a slope or neighboring gabion blocks in an insertion manner. In particular, the corresponding gabion blocks are tensioned by a steel wire cable or selectively constructed blocks are tensioned from earth and sand by an earth anchor, and thus resistance to overturing against earth pressure lateral force is secured and structure integration is secured between stacked gabion blocks to significantly enhance the quality of a retaining wall structure.
