The present invention relates to an electric motor and, more specifically, to a motor implementing a two-mode neutral point winding, which generates a second neutral point in a motor by connecting Coil A′, Coil B′, and Coil C′ of three phases (A,B,C) of a primary winding to a third contact point so as to short-circuit the coils, instead of making an open circuit by separating contact points in a switch-off state to electrically isolate the three phases (A, B, C) of the primary winding, and a control method thereof. |
