PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently reduce a change in generation torque caused by varying a rotor magnetic flux strength.SOLUTION: A fan motor control device is configured to drive a fan by means of a motor 2 and includes: a position/velocity estimation section 13 for calculating estimates of a rotation angle &thetas;and a rotational velocity ωof the motor 2; a multiplication section 16A which multiplies the rotational velocity ωcalculated by the position/velocity estimation section 13 by a flow coefficient Kto calculate a control target value; and a current vector control section 25 for controlling a drive current of the motor 2 through feedback control on the basis of the control target value K. On the basis of at least a drive current obtained by a current sensor and the rotation angle ωobtained from the position/velocity estimation section 13, the rotor magnetic flux strength of the motor 2 is calculated and control values Vand Vto be used for driving the motor 2 are varied in accordance with the calculated rotor magnetic flux strength. |
