PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for markedly masking (reducing) the unpleasant taste unique to collagen as well as a collagen-containing edible preparation in which the unpleasant taste unique to collagen is masked and the taste is excellent.SOLUTION: THere are provided a method for masking unpleasant taste which collagen has and an unpleasant taste-masked collagen-containing edible preparation in which, characterized, a malt extract whose color density calculated based on the absorbance at 500 nm is 10 to 60, is added, and in which, characterized, the addition amount of the malt extract when the malt extract color concentration calculated based on the absorbance at 500 nm is set at 50, is 0.07 to 4 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of collagen. |
