PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel image display device comprising a reflection projection optical system and a transparent member.SOLUTION: The image display device of the invention enlarges and projects an image displayed on an image display element 1 on a screen 5 as a projection image. The image display device comprises: a dioptric system 2 including a plurality of lenses and arranged close to the image display element; a reflection optical system 3 including one or more reflection optical elements and reflecting a luminous flux from the dioptric system; a transparent member 4 arranged on an optical path from the reflection optical system toward the screen 5, and transmitting therethrough an imaging luminous flux by the dioptric system and the reflection optical system; image position changing means for changing the direction of the imaging luminous flux travelling toward the screen 5 and changing the imaging position of the projection image; and angle change means for changing an angle formed by a reference axis A(AX) shared by the plurality of lenses included in the dioptric system and the transparent member 4 according to operations of the image position changing means. |
