PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device of which the light distribution angle is large while reducing the cost, and which is capable of effectively suppressing a variation in luminosity and uses an LED having a high heat dissipation property.SOLUTION: The illumination device includes: a light source module including a plurality of light-emitting diodes and a printed wiring board on which the plurality of light-emitting diodes are packaged; a metal substrate on which the light source module is laminated via an adhesive layer; and a light scattering cover which is attached to the metal substrate so as to cover the plurality of light-emitting diodes and of which the contour is formed in a partial rotor shape. The metal substrate includes a projection of a right-angled pyramid or a light-angled frustum of which the side surface inclination angle is equal to or larger than 55° and equal to or smaller than 85°, in such a manner that its center axis is substantially matched with a rotation axis of the partial rotor of the light scattering cover. The plurality of light-emitting diodes of the light source module are substantially evenly disposed only on a side surface of the projection of the metal substrate, and at least a portion of the adhesive layer is comprised of a heat conductive adhesive agent. |
