A window frame including frames of heterogeneous materials according to the present invention is formed by integrally assembling corresponding portions of a synthetic resin frame and a metal frame in a length direction in a knurling manner such that the synthetic resin frame is positioned in an indoor side and the metal frame is positioned in an outdoor side. In the synthetic resin frame, a corner piece insertion portion is formed in a length direction between a plate-shaped member protruding from a synthetic resin body toward the indoor side and a lower plate protruding from a lower end portion of the synthetic resin body toward the indoor side. A fastening protrusion is formed to protrude to the outside of an indoor side portion of the corner piece insertion portion. Protrusions protrude from both sides of a lower portion of the lower plate at an interval therebetween by facing each other to form an angle insertion portion. Both end portions of the metal and synthetic resin frames are cut to be sloped at 45 degrees. A corner piece is inserted into each corner piece insertion portion of the synthetic resin frame positioned to be horizontal and vertical when assembled, and an angle as a plate-shaped member bent to have a L shape is inserted into the angle insertion portion so that the angle, the lower plate, and the corner piece are fixedly coupled through punching or by a piece such as a screw. Since the angle insertion portion is separately formed on an outer side of a corner portion of each frame where the corner piece insertion portion is formed and a certain position may be punched or fastened by a piece, regardless of position of a protrusion forming the angle insertion portion, thereby enhancing assembly characteristics. |
