<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll sheet peeling device and a printer that can suppress the deterioration of printing quality due to floating of a peeling point.SOLUTION: The roll sheet peeling device includes a holding shaft, an auxiliary roller 42, a peeling roller 41, and a roller support portion. The holding shaft is disposed in the holding position of a label roll to which a label without mount or a strip-shaped sheet having an adhesive layer on the rear surface is wound to hold the label roll which is inserted into the winding center of the label roll. The auxiliary roller is located near the peeling position from the label roll of the label without mount, running nearly parallel to the width direction of the label without mount to come into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the label roll. The peeling roller, while making a gap with the outer peripheral surface of the label roll to come into contact with the rear surface of the label without mount, comes into contact with the auxiliary roller in parallel. The roller support portion, while maintaining a relative position of the auxiliary roller and the peeling roller, approaches the position of the auxiliary rollers to the holding shaft with decrease in the diameter of the label roll.</p> |
