The present invention relates to a monitoring method for preventing server overload, which can eliminate delays, system down, and conflicts with existing operating systems due to increased load by using an event-based asynchronous method in which one thread sequentially processes events in a single-thread manner according to the order in which the events occur when monitoring servers in which the events occur. The monitoring method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: determining whether there is the need to monitor a server including an agent program; extracting the server to be monitored; transmitting a signal to the server to check the response and activation state of the server; determining the asynchronous monitoring priority of the activated servers; transmitting a monitoring request signal in the order of asynchronous monitoring priority and acquiring a response signal to the request signal; checking the validity of the monitoring response signal when the monitoring response signal is received; checking whether the received response signal is a server signal or a state signal according to the priority; and operating a monitoring system (10) when the received response signal is the server signal. |
