A light emitting element, disclosed in an embodiment, includes: a light emitting structure including a first conductive semiconductor layer, an active layer placed under the first conductive semiconductor layer, and a second conductive semiconductor layer placed under the active layer; a first electrode electrically connected to the first conductive semiconductor layer; a mirror layer placed under the light emitting structure; a window semiconductor layer placed between the mirror layer and the light emitting structure; a reflecting layer placed under the mirror layer; a conductive contact layer placed between the reflecting layer and the window semiconductor layer and making contact with the window semiconductor layer; and a conductive support layer placed under the reflecting layer. The window semiconductor layer includes a carbon-doped phosphorus (P) semiconductor. The conductive contact layer contains a different material from the material of the mirror layer. The conductive contact layer includes: multiple first contact parts having the entire upper surface vertically overlapped with the light emitting structure; and multiple second contact parts having a part of the upper surface placed outside a side wall of the light emitting structure. |
