<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press molding device of molten resin, configured to reliably fix an insert member for insert molding. <P>SOLUTION: This press molding device for molten resin 1 includes a fixed mold 2 and a fixed mold 3 arranged opposite to each other and performs press molding by inserting a molten resin between the fixed mold 2 and the fixed mold 3. The press molding device 1 includes a positioning tool 4 which positions a nut N to be placed on a molding surface of the fixed mold 2 before applying the molten resin, and a pressing tool 6 which is installed in the fixed mold 3 opposite to the positioning tool 4 and can move in a direction of retracting to the molding surface of the fixed mold 3. Prior to clamping the mold, the pressing tool 6 remains projected to the positioning tool 4 side from the molding surface of the fixed mold 3, and when the mold is clamped, the pressing tool 6 moves in a direction of retracting to the molding surface of the fixed mold 3 while being pressed to the nut N positioned by the positioning tool 4.
