PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing instrument capable of maintaining a holding power of a clip part even when continuously used.SOLUTION: A clip part 70 includes a sliding part 71 sliding on an outer circumference of a shaft cylinder 30 in a longitudinal direction, and a hooking part 72 connected to a sliding part 71. A protrusion 73 projecting toward the sliding part 71 is provided at a position opposite to the sliding part 71 at the hooking part 72. An extension 74 expanded from its fore end to a fore end direction is provided on the sliding part 71. An opening 55 for allowing the extension 74 to be accessible is formed at the position corresponding to the extension 74 in the shaft cylinder 30. A base 54 higher than a circumferential edge of the opening 55 is provided at the position immediately behind the opening 55 in the shaft cylinder 30. A section corresponding to the protrusion 73 in the sliding part 71 forms a movable part 75. When the movable part 75 is located on the fore end side from the base 54, a space is formed between the sliding part 71 and the protrusion 73. When the movable part 75 is moved to the rear end side and raised on the base 54, the space between the sliding part 71 and the protrusion 73 is narrowed. |
