A control method of an inverter. A photo-voltaic PV cell (500) is controlled to be short-circuited upon detection of excessively large voltages, i.e. BUS voltages, at the both ends of a BUS capacitor (C), so that the BUS voltages are decreased; when the BUS voltages are decreased to a certain value, the PV cell (500) continues charging the BUS capacitor (C) to control the BUS voltages to rise, so that the BUS voltages are maintained within the operating voltage range of the inverter and a PV cell with a higher open-circuit voltage can be configured for the inverter. Therefore, the charging rate of the BUS capacitor is improved and the speed of starting the inverter is raised. |
