Provided in an embodiment of the present invention is a method for selecting an optimal location of an access point, the method comprising: acquiring a location, determining the signal strength coefficient of the location according to the signal strength of a station STA covered by the access device at the location, until the signal strength coefficients of at least two locations are obtained; recording the signal strength coefficients corresponding to at least two locations; comparing the recorded signal strength coefficients to obtain a comparison result, and determining an optimal location of the access point AP according to the comparison result. |
