PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low noise amplifier which can handle a wide input signal level over a wide frequency band, with lower power consumption.SOLUTION: The low noise amplifier includes: a transistor 4 whose gate terminal is connected to another end of a first impedance element 3; a second capacitor 5 whose one end is connected to the drain terminal of the transistor 4; a second impedance element 6 whose one end is connected to another end of the second capacitor 5, whereas another end is connected to the gate terminal of the transistor 4; a third impedance element 7 whose one end is connected to the drain terminal of the transistor 4, whereas another end is connected to a first bias terminal 11; a fourth impedance element 8 whose one end is connected to the drain terminal of the transistor 4; and a third capacitor 9 whose one end is connected to another end of the fourth impedance element 8, whereas another end is connected to an output terminal 12. The output impedance is substantially the same as the characteristic impedance of an external transmission line connected to the output terminal 12. |
