PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a capacity for storing a correction value from increasing without decreasing accuracy of correcting a focus detection result in an imaging device.SOLUTION: An imaging device is provided, which includes: focus detecting means (129, 130, 125) for detecting an evaluation value to control an imaging optical system to a focusing state by using one of a plurality of different focus detection methods on the basis of a signal output from an imaging element (122); correction means (125) for correcting the evaluation value in accordance with the focus detection method used for the detection; and storage means (125b) that stores information for calculating a reference correction value to correct an evaluation value detected by using a predetermined focus detection method in the plurality of different focus detection methods, and also stores information for calculating, from the reference correction value, a correction value for correcting an evaluation value detected by using a focus detection method other than the above predetermined method. The correction means calculates a correction value for correcting the evaluation value by using the information stored in the storage means, and corrects the value. |
