<p>Present invention relates to a screw-type clamping unit for connecting devices for connection of electrical copper or aluminum conductors, rigid and/or flexible conductors, sector conductors or the like. Screw-type clamping unit according to the present invention is adapted for mounting on busbar (1) completely enveloping respective busbar (1), for engaging a cable lying on a saddle and to provide a secure seating and contact of the conductor against the busbar (1), wherein clamping unit housing (2) and clamping legs (9,10) are made out of one piece. Conductor is clamped under a saddle by means of screw (6) and nut (11). According to the preferred embodiment of the invention the clamping unit housing (2) comprising apertures enveloping the busbar (1) positioned in a clockwise direction, the surfaces of the apertures enveloping busbar (1) are performed in the form of a semi-ellipse provided that the large axis of the ellipse is equal to the width of the aperture enveloping the busbar (1). Therefore connecting device according the present invention is performed with fewer component parts resulting in reliable positioning and functioning of the whole assembly.</p> |
