A system for gear measurement and control method thereof is provided to reduce times of repairmen of a transmission in which a work gear is equipped, by reducing defect rate of a tooth form by verifying the tooth form of a work gear. A system for gear measurement and control method thereof comprises a master gear(131) meshed with a work gear(111) and rotated together in order to inspect quality of the work gear for inspection; a piezoelectric element, provided onto surface of a tooth of the master gear, generating voltage by contacting pressure of the work gear, when the master gear is meshed with the work gear and rotate together; and an analyzer, connected to the piezoelectric element, through the voltage generated from the piezoelectric element, analyzing a tooth form of the work gear.
