The invention relates to a junction box (16, 18) for optical fibres, including a chamber (116) defined by two main walls (30, 88) of the box (16, 18), which face one another. Said chamber (116) includes at least two different locations (E1, E2) for receiving optical fibre coils such that they extend in different planes from one another. The box (16, 18) also includes a base (126) serving as a common support for the coils at each location (E1, E2).
