The unit has sensors for sensing input parameters required for dynamic calculation of maintenance duration. A calculation unit (10) e.g. microcontroller, uses algorithms e.g. dynamic calculation algorithms, integrating calculation models. A storage unit is connected to the microcontroller, sensors and/or information sources for storing usage and condition data. A formatting unit formats the usage and condition data to edit a recommended dynamic and updated maintenance program.
