<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a protective film, capable of suppressing contamination of a saponification bath and efficiently producing a protective film with proper adhesiveness with a polarizer and superior scratch resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a protective film to be adhered to a polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizer via an adhesive layer comprises a step of saponifying a laminated body, having a hard coat layer containing silica particles with median diameter ranging from 30-300 nm on the outermost layer on one surface of a transparent substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
