The pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating atopic dermatitis according to the present invention normalizes immune system imbalances in atopic dermatitis patients, and improves the effect of treating symptoms of atopic dermatitis due to a superior moisturizing effect and hyaluronidase inhibitory activity of poly-gamma- glutamic acid contained therein, as well as ?-PGA itself has no toxicity and side effects, so that the safety thereof can be ensured in a long-term intake for prevention purposes.
