A green fluorescent, a method of its preparation and white LED is provided to realize light emitting diode having excellent color reproducibility and photonic by the new green emitting phosphor. The green-emitting phosphor is displayed as the following chemical formula:((Zn1-a-bAaBb)2GacSd:Eu^2+,Q^-), and the green-emitting phosphor is displayed as the following chemical formula:((Zn1-a-bAaBb)2GacSd:Eu^2+,RE^3+,Q^-). A and B is a metal ion(+2) having the alkaline earth metal, a RE3+ is the rare-earth ion, Q- is the halogen ion. A and B satisfy a following condition: 0 <=a+b<=0.5., 1<=c<=5, d=2+3c/2.
