Provided is a shock-absorbing stuffing material for a container, which prevents a net or the like, when mounted in a cap, from being wound by the upper face of a container mouth and the cap and which prevents the contents such as pellets from being pushed into the center hole of an annular winding portion. The container shock-absorbing stuffing material is characterized by adopting the following means. The first means winds the open end of one axial end of the extensible cylindrical net multiplexly on the other end of the net, while wrapping it up, to form an annular wound portion having a center hole. The second means pushes the other end either into the center hole of the annular wound portion or to the lower side of the center hole. The third means closes the lower side center hole of the annular wound portion in addition to the foregoing means.
