PURPOSE: An optical media driving device is provided to reduce holding force generated by a strong magnet by enabling a pressing element to form the repulsive power between a spindle and a clamper. CONSTITUTION: An optical media driving device includes a spindle(20), a sliding cone(24), a holding force generating unit, and a pressing element. A media is installed in the spindle. The sliding cone is flexibly supported in the spindle. The clamper closely draws a media to the spindle. The holding force generating unit comprises a magnet. The magnet fixes an interval between the spindle and the clamper. The sliding cone is pressurized and the repulsive power is generated between the clamper and the spindle.
