<p>Amorphous HMG CoA reductase inhibitors, especially amorphous atorvastatin, are described. Also described are pharmaceutical combinations comprising amorphous HMG CoA reductase inhibitors in combination with cholesterol absorption inhibitors or fibrates. A method of manufacturing the compositions using a hot melt extrusion process are also described.</p> |
