In the parent patent, zinc-amine complexes of tertiary amines are used as latent accelerators in polyadduct formation from epoxy compounds with >1 epoxy group per molecule and dicyandiamide, on heating. According to the present improveent, the latent accelerators are zinc-amine complexes of heterocyclic amines with 2N atoms in the ring, where 1N atom is secondary and the other is tertiary. The mixtures can be stored at below 100 degrees C; at 140 degrees C, hardening is rapid.
