PURPOSE: A terminal and a method of selecting a network thereof are provided to store a country code of a selected network and a network ID code to a preferable network among searched networks. CONSTITUTION: A method of selecting a network in a terminal comprises the steps of: searching plural usable networks; displaying the searched network and requesting the selection of a preferable network to a user(S104); receiving the selected network from the user(S105); searching the country code of the selected network and a network ID code; and storing the country code and the network ID codes as the preferable network information(S106).
