<p>PURPOSE: A ballast for multiple lamps and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to simplify a whole circuit structure for lighting multiple discharge lamps by driving the multiple discharge lamps at the same time through one ballast. CONSTITUTION: A ballast for multiple lamps includes a bobbin of a cylindrical shape, a first coil(31), an insulation sheet, a second coil(32), a first core(33), and a second core(34). A partition part is formed in a central part inside the bobbin. The first coil surrounds an outer surface of the bobbin, and controls a current flowing to a first discharge lamp(12). The insulation sheet is laminated on a top part of the first coil in order to surround the first coil. The second coil surrounds the insulation sheet, and controls a current flowing to a second discharge lamp(22). The first core and the second core are coupled in both sides of the bobbin with a top and bottom direction.</p> |
