An anticancer drug which is useful in a cancer cell which has multidrug resistance is provided to have excellent apoptosis effect of cancer cell. A composition for suppressing multidrug resistance on a anticancer drug comprises 3-(2-benzoxazolyl)-7-(diethylamino)coumarin compound of the chemical formula 1 or pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient. The compound have improved cell apoptosis inducing effect. An anticancer adjuvant comprises the 3-(2-benzoxazolyl)-7-(diethylamino)coumarin compound of the chemical formula 1 or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
