PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing for a motor, effectively preventing separation on a bearing rolling contact surface caused by hydrogen brittleness, excellent in quietness, and operable for a long period of time. SOLUTION: This rolling bearing 1 for the motor supports the rotor of the motor. The rolling bearing 1 for the motor includes as metallic bearing members: an inner ring 2; an outer ring 3; a plurality of rolling elements 4 interposed between the inner and outer rings; and a retainer 5 retaining the rolling elements 4.
