PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kick down switch of an accelerator device preventing the clogging of foreign matter in a gap. SOLUTION: The kick down switch of an accelerator device includes a casing, an operation button 2 and a compression coil spring. The casing has a peripheral wall standing on the bottom and the periphery of the bottom, and an opening on the surface opposed to the bottom. The operation button 2 is supported by the casing to be movable in a reciprocating manner and projects into the opening of the casing. The compression coil spring is arranged between the casing and the operation button 2 and biases the operation button 2 in the direction of the opening. An interior space of which volume is changed by the reciprocating movement of the operation button 2 is provided between the casing and the operation button 2. The casing has a communication hole for communicating the interior space with the outside. The casing is housed in a housing recessed part 81 provided at a predetermined position of the accelerator device 10, and the communication hole is covered with the housing recessed part 81.
