PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve registration correction frequency fit for user's need (whether to regard image quality as important or speed as important). SOLUTION: Setting data 31 showing an operation mode selected at present out of a plurality of operation modes including an image quality priority mode and a speed priority mode is stored in a memory device 13. A print engine 11 repetitively performs registration correction every time a predetermined performing condition is fulfilled, and sets a first set value as a parameter of the performing condition when the operation mode is the image quality priority mode, and sets a second set value at which a time interval of the registration correction becomes longer than at the first set value as the parameter of the performing condition when the operation mode is the speed priority mode.
