<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conference system between distant places, which provides a superior sense of reality and has an high level of security. <P>SOLUTION: The conference system includes: notebook computers 2; main monitors 3; cameras 15; microphones 14; and speakers 18. The notebook computers 2 are incorporated in LAN system via waveguide sheets 8. Out of the notebook computers 2 at two sites, one of them is set as a host computer and the other is set as a guest computer, and the notebook computer 2 set as the host is remotely operated from the notebook computer 2 set as the guest. For example, by displaying common information K on the main monitors 3 on both sites and displaying an image E of the other site on the notebook computers 2, a conference with a high sense of reality is achieved. Since transmission and reception is done with weak electric waves between the notebook computer 2 and the waveguide sheet 8, a high level of security is secured with no necessity of wire connection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
