<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic mold for casting which can easily and efficiently cast a spheroidal graphite cast iron product of high quality, and to provide a method for producing a thin cast iron product. <P>SOLUTION: The mold 2 is composed of a fixed side mold 3 and a movable side mold 4, and in which the thickness thereof is also made into the uniform one of 20 mm, and many vent holes 5 are made. Into the vent holes 5, a ventilation adjustment member adjusting the ventilation amount and opening area is inserted, and further, coating is applied with porous ceramics or the like for preventing the spilling of molten metal and for securing cleanliness. The mold 2 is preheated and clamped, and, when the molten metal is poured, cooling starts, and, while suppressing chilling, solidification is performed in a short time, and a frying pan F made of spheroidal graphite cast iron of high quality can be repeatedly produced with efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
