<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical shell type contact which exercises large elastic force without depending on directivity of an application direction of external force, and can attain the large elastic force in simple structure, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The spherical shell type contact 1 includes a spring part 2 formed in the partially buried spherical shell shape as if a part of a spherical shell body is buried to a wiring board 4 to be used for a probe card and the shape that one or more through holes are provided. In the method for manufacturing the spherical shell type contact 1, plating formation of the spring part 2 is performed using a resist spherical body formed by thermally hardening a resist column formed on the wiring board 4 as a mold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
