PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sensor which restrains the saturation of the left-right ratio of light.
SOLUTION: Multiple light-receiving elements are formed on a semiconductor substrate, a light-shielding film is formed on the formation surface of the light-receiving element through a translucent film, and openings for translucence are formed on the light-shielding film to correspond to the light-receiving elements. A pair of light-receiving elements are formed on the semiconductor substrate in order to have axial symmetry in relation to a virtual straight line along the formation surface, and a pair of openings corresponding to the pair of light-receiving elements are formed on the light-shielding film to have axial symmetry in relation to the virtual straight line. Each of the pair of light-receiving elements forms a concavity with the center dented from one end to the other end of the virtual straight line, and the lateral width gets wider as it goes from the one end to the other. Also, at least one of the pair of openings projected on the formation surface by the light crossing the formation surface is positioned in a region surrounded by the corresponding light-receiving elements and the line connecting both ends of the light-receiving elements.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
