PURPOSE: A lithium secondary battery is provided to obtain high power performance and low temperature properties while obtaining the same capacity as a lithium secondary battery which uses conventional amorphous carbon. CONSTITUTION: A lithium secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode which comprises a first positive electrode active material of a layered structure indicated in chemical formula 1, Li_x(Ni_vMn_wCo_yM_z)O_(2-t)A_t, and a second positive electrode active material with a spinel structure indicated in chemical formula 2, Li_aMn_(2-b)M'_bO_(4-c)A'_c, as positive electrode active materials; a negative electrode which comprises amorphous carbon of which the capacity is 300 mAh/g or more; and a separator. |
