PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front seat assembly for an automobile capable of providing an armrest for driver's seat without reducing width of an intermediate seat. SOLUTION: This front seat assembly comprises the driver's seat and a front passenger seat having seat cushions provided at a predetermined interval in a front part in an automobile room to support occupant's lower body and a seat back erected at a rear end of the seat cushion to support occupant's back each and the intermediate seat having a seat cushion provided between the driver's seat and the front passenger seat and connected with the seat cushion on the front passenger seat so as to fold, a seat back connected with a rear end of the seat cushion so as to fold, and the armrest protruding onto a rear face of the seat back to enable a driver on the driver's seat to rest his/her elbow on it.
