The mechanism has an escape block comprising a spiral balance spring (32) coaxial with a balanced mobile stud carrier (25) of an anchor (16). A mobile stud (26) of the balance spring is connected with the mobile stud carrier for driving the balance spring. An index assembly system and a screwable shock-proof cage (15) refine adjustments of the mechanism. An escape wheel (5) is provided between a plate (1) and a bridge (7). The plate is driven by eccentric limitation stops (2) to allow adjustment of teeth of the wheel against a curved input or output pallet (17) of the anchor.
